Gardens
and lawns
comprise the living part of your Living Edge Landscape
design. Popular garden styles including modern style gardens, English
cottage style gardens and Native Australian type gardens. We provide a
complete soft landscaping service, including planting schemes, mulch,
turfing, irrigation and decorative garden features. A good garden starts
with a good organic garden soil. Likewise a good lawn needs a good turf
underlay mix. We recommend Soft Leaf Buffalo as a good turf due to
it's low maintenance, but Kikuyu and Couch are also popular. Now is the
time to start thinking about your favourite plants! We always
incorporate your ideas eg flowers, shrubs, ferns, shrubs and trees,
maybe some fruit trees to make your place special!

Decking,
stairs and pergolas add the soft look of timber to your
yard - it's an important part of today's integrated landscape
ideas. Living Edge Landscapes construct various custom timber
features like decks, stairs, timber screens, pergolas and
cabanas. The frames for decks are always treated pine because it
is white ant and rot resistant. Living Edge Landscapes
can also create feature walls and screen walls to give extra
privacy and space. These partitions can be made of timber or
cladding such as Blueboard. The wooden decks themselves are often
done in variety of timbers like Merbau, Batu, Treated Pine, Brushbox or
Black Butt. The end product can be oiled or stained for years of
durability. |

Water
Features can make a real splash as the centrepiece of
your garden. At Living Edge Landscapes we produce individually
designed water features, ponds, waterfalls and fountains. These
can be part of a pool, pond or stand alone. We can create entry
fountains, cascading bush rock waterfalls, recycle ponds, formal
sheetwater and rainfall features or natural creek bed designs
set through tropical style gardens with timber bridges and
decorative gravel pathways. For extra effect ask about how night
lighting can put your water feature in the spotlight! Continue
